I keep my vehicles for 15+yrs and over time I have only seen three major advancements in what I need for a truck(or any other vehicle)... power windows/doors and cruise control. Power mirrors are a nice bonus but not necessary and steering wheel controls for the stereo can be kludged in with a simple remote.
