Absolutally give it a try. My in-laws own 6 or 8 trucks with either 6 speed or the 10 speed dual range non-synchro transmissions. I was tossed the keys to one of them last year and told to give it a shot. Without any coaching I got it going, but to get it out of first I tried clutching in which got me into neutral

Great...now I really, really want chicken and waffles.

2003 Land Rover Discovery. That info alone is probably enough for many people, but aside from the normal LR sketchiness it had a few additional “features”:
- It was sold with a “small exhaust leak” that I later found to be deliberately caused in order to cover up the noise from (at least) one of the steel cylinder

Nope, they’re running a smart business. Do you think they would rather sell 4-5 tunes for the same amount as one tune? Businesses exist not to provide something people want, but to sell something people want to buy (slight, but important difference). They exist to get make a profit so the owners and employees can

My 2 year old was hospitalized for about a month at the beginning of this year with some bad GI issues. The trip to the hospital was thankfully pretty short, but the poor kid was expelling the contents of his GI tract out of both ends. It was an unholy mess.

2001 Chevy Cavalier, base, 2 door, black, 3-speed auto. Ugh. Tons of wind noise, horrible seats, horrible everything. No power windows, no power locks, no power!

Now playing

I would argue a bike inner tube over and exhaust pipe may be more amusing.

Came here to say the same thing. I drive that road every day to pick up my kid from daycare. I hope I don’t encounter that POS bouncing its busted ass into my car anytime soon.

I’m just here to be triggered. Please carry on.

At least one person at many of these news organizations DID say, “Wait a minute. Really?” But in many cases that person or people did so after learning of the story through the piece which had already been pushed through by others in their news organization without a second thought. The ex post facto questioning of

Kris is many things. Fat is not one of them :-)

Ummmm...no. Not in the usual spot in relation to an engine on a 911.

Came here to say the same thing. About the first thing you figure out entering a caged car is ‘feet first’

Yes, and the offspring got the worst attributes of each. It is such a fugly truck, and this is coming from a guy who generally likes Nissan trucks quite a bit, enough to own one for a few years at least! I think the proportions are odd, and the stock tire size looks a bit small for how massive the front end of these

Wow...I’m glad I took another route home on Saturday. I would usually drive on hwy 36 on that stretch of road but took I94 instead for some reason. I supposed that was good luck on my part since I was towing my boat and that may have ended poorly.

I’ve been waiting for the parts availability notice for my 2002 5 series for over a year, and last week I just got a notice that my 2008 3 series is now on the list. Maybe in the next 3 or 4 years I’ll actually get a new airbag out of the deal. Until then I’ll try really, really hard to not crash...as if that’s not

Mission accomplished. Ecoboost flex acquired. MKT still flugly.

Yeah, after we finally checked out both side by side I had no more desire to look at the MKT. I dig the look of the flex for whatever reason, and it seems to be one hell of a practical wagony thing. Not too terrible to drive either, for a big ass boat of a car!

My wife and I are in the market for a Ford Flex (because I swear it isn’t a minivan dammit!), and I have been pushing to look at the MKT as well. My wife is having none of that due to the ugly factor. Most of the time I’m not going to dismiss a car over looks alone if its got a twin turbo V6, AWD, room for much stuff
