Yup. 100% Yes. My commute is 13 miles and takes 35-55 minutes. There is nothing exciting, it is bumper to bumper traffic crawling along at a boringly slow pace. A Prius, for all its faults (arguably) would be an adequate car for the daily slog.

In my limited oval experience, I'd take negotiating 35 turns over trying to pass in traffic flat out on an oval. Never have I been so nervous on a track as negotiating the banked oval part of a "roval" road/oval course setup at Iowa Speedway.
Wagon all the things!
Good music, chill demeanor, not sweating the morons, and plenty of alternate back-roads I can take if I just don't feel like sitting in the traffic on the highway.
You can say that again! And again, and again, and again...
Don't go looking for the photos of the man who was pulled out of it. Seriously, don't. Ish.
I can't say I enjoy the way a Prius drives, or would ever consider one, but...
That thing mashed into the front of that Big(ish) Rig is a VW CrossFox, not a Smart.
Yup, still a very crack-pipey pile. It was probably nice and clean at some point, but I think this guy lacks the sort of taste to keep modifications subtle and clean. He must really enjoy the whole "fast and furious" scene.
Ah yes, the infamous Shane car. I'll let you know, he is 105% serious about the price, and I would not be surprised if crack played a role.
"Shane" has indeed had the car for a long time. This is not the car that was totalled. "Shane" is well regarded as a douche-canoe in the online savvy Saab community. Very arrogant, and one of those folks who doesn't need to back up his claims (hp figured, anecdotes about street racking, etc.).
Absolutely! I had an old Saab I realy loved, and we sent it out with a bang (into a very large concrete block) less than a 2 hours into the 24 hour race. It might not count, since despite the car's formidable attempt at death we managed to spend several hours rigging the thing back into a "racing" state. We managed…
@Audi4life20v: No trickery in that golf. Our Lemons/Chump team is also sponsored by Jeff the Alignment Guy, and the extent of the work done to that golf is the same as the work done to our team's various Saabs, tire mounting and an alignment.
@Novaload: Shortbus raced a Chump car race at BIR in Brainard MN. And there was contact made with other cars during that race.
