Same, when I first started working as a pumpjack designer for a large international oilfield service company, it is hammer into your head the type of damage a pumpjack can do to a person. Needless to say, don’t ever put your arm near the crank if you can avoid it.

This might be a nice little studio rig, but is worthless in the places where one actually USES a tripod: uneven ground outdoors. Not saying I wouldn’t use it for a cheap(ish) studio option but definitely not a replacement for the real thing.
