I agree. S3 with a manual would be perfect.
True, but for music I've found that the current text-based systems aren't very good at letting you select songs, artists, etc. It's very distracting to go one line at a time, and most people would just get frustrated pick up their phone.
But the whole point of these systems is that you can make/receive calls and listen to music from your phone, but still have it totally out of sight...

Given how hit-or-miss facial recognition usually is, I'd prefer it to be fingerprint-based. Other than that, I think it's a great idea.

The problem is that bad drivers have always existed, mostly due to the pathetic excuse for license requirements in the U.S. Now, with tech like this, we finally have the opportunity to put a barrier between them and everyone else.

Most of the planes appeared to have one or two Sidewinders. Even so, the article states that they were supported by U.S. F-16s and F-22s. I'm betting "supported" in this case means "escorted."
While having this for a State Trooper is dumb, I'd rather cops had small cars like this, honestly. Cop cars spend most of their time sitting around or cruising slowly, just burning gas. I'd rather them save some fuel and then call in the Chargers if needed.
You shouldn't rely on them, but like the Blind-Spot Monitoring Systems, they can be useful for a bad driver who never would have checked in the first place.
