Bad Dad, BAD DAD!
Bad Dad, BAD DAD!
People in wheelchairs complete marathons all the time, assisted and unassisted, they just don’t tend to win them. For them simply completing the course and going the distance is the goal, not doing it as fast as possible or faster than an able-bodied athlete. Ability is a spectrum. There are people below the average…
Yes yes a thousand times yes.
No, everyone knows the entire USA military is stationed in Washington DC so this the film was realistic in that regard.
It sounds like the First Order is taking a page from the backstory alluded to in KOTOR II and realized in The Old Republic MMO: a Sith Empire that was never truly defeated, but fled into unknown space to quietly rebuild itself. Maybe this is the origin of Snoke himself: fleeing a much earlier failed conflict with the…
It’s disappointing and pretty nonsensical that the First Order is essentially more powerful than the Empire only 30 years after it was so intensely crippled. They had to pay reparations to the New Republic but they somehow had enough remaining capital to TURN AN ENTIRE PLANET INTO A WEAPON?!? I feel like the film…
I still don’t understand how Kylo was freakin’ stopping laser bolts in mid-air at the start of the movie, but he doesn’t finish Finn off instantly. I assume that Kylo has had to have some training in his life at that point, given that he struck down a bunch of Jedi apprentices with it...and that Finn has had exactly…
She dowloaded it from the Force... Next, she’ll be learning Kung Fu.
TFA is by far the best Abrams flick ever.
He may have taken a lot of the criticisms the prequels have been hit with personally, for all we know. I don’t think anyone’s said anything real hurtful about him or Mace, but it may sting to have appeared in movies that are really looked on by a large group of people now.
No. That’s not serious shade. That’s a guy selling a movie and talking about its competition. He’s messing with your heads, people.
That was fine. Her suddenly becoming a master at the drop of a hat was ridiculous, though.
*nerd glasses*
I’d agree with you utterly in terms of speech. No doubt. But when translating those speech patterns into the beats and rhythms of grammar, for which we have punctuation, things tend to get lost and sentence structures tend to get mangled.
There’s a massive, massive, dispiritingly massive difference between a person’s verbal and written language - I’m a teacher, and I’ve taught plenty of articulate pupils on the cusp of leaving school who still don’t use capital letters and full stops correctly, let along sub-clauses.
Stanford marketing major?
That’s Hardy Harbaugh, formerly known as The Family Secret.
Starkiller base doesn’t blow up. It becomes a sun. See it’s different.
Don’t dare dreaming bigger, that is an unforgivable sin on the internet.
Agreed, should have been an original story. Can’t believe people are so damn happy to see the same movie twice. Keep supporting that bullshit and all you get is remakes instead of incredible stories like Christopher Nolan produces. ‘’good enough’’ is not something Star Wars fans should be striving for...
