The thing about gamers and Nintendo is that when given what we want, we ask for something different. But if it's too different, it's not something we want.

Realize though what game it launched with: Monster Hunter. Just because they had the design, doesn't mean they liked using it.

"It's why Nintendo released the Circle Pad Pro. Because it found out soon after launch that, hey, a lot of these 3D games are going to need the extra thumbstick."

Kickstarter does not allow you to use the money to hire people for the project is the thing. I would need to hire programmers, artists and a composer. Basically, I'm the design lead and I need other people to help make the game.

Combos put in on purpose vs. combos tourney players have found are 2 different things.

Except Sakurai saying he wanted something different had me worried before. Now add Namco to the mix...it doesn't sit right with me, man. It just don't sit right!

So looks like there's no 2nd nub...I mean, I don't know what else to say besides "called it".

Sounds like they're going comic relief on us. I'm OK with that.

I don't get this fascination of not looking "silly".

It sounds like they're finally doing what they wanted to awhile ago: turn the Xbox brand name into their entertainment brand. That's why Zune was technically under the Xbox name.

Again, I wouldn't use anecdotal evidence to determine an entire market. Be careful with that, because what one family does isn't necessarily what others will do. Now, when you start looking at 10+ families saying they're going to be a Wii U- then that's a little better, but anecdotal evidence never really suffices a

I feel as though what we're moving towards is an industry that is less in it to make good games, and more in it to make a lot of money. Gaming has now reached a level in which everyone does it- whether it be on your phone, console or even Facebook. Everyone plays games in some manner of fashion, so when you look at it
