I'm curious as I don't know...but do we believe iOS 6 will be available for current Apple devices?

Don't own a TV?

I feel like after Friday, everyone makes a music video that doesn't do well at first in order to become hated. Because guess what? Friday made bank. Rebecca Black made bank, and signed a record deal. She was in a god damn Katy Perry music video.

"It is highly unlikely that any next-gen consoles will be out in 2013, of course."

I have come to the conclusion the writers of Kotaku must perform this song now.

Smartglass is aimed at the casual market? I wouldn't agree with that. Their examples for gaming was Halo, not Kinect Sports. I'm not sure what you mean by Nintendo being a high profit glue factory either (I didn't see them kill any horses...)

If I was in charge of their E3 show, I would play to the crowd and drop plenty of games. But everything is a strategy now. I feel like with the Wii U launching, we're going to see all three announce things as we get closer for strategic planning.

Yeah, Sony has been building them this generation. From what I've heard, they're trying to build a following like Nintendo has where the gamers go to the system for their games.

E3 used to be about telling us about games 2 years out that just started development too. And people would bitch and complain about waiting around for the game to finally release. It's bad marketing, because then you hype up the standard of the game with talk and what not. Making it feel like the game isn't as good as

But here's the thing: we saw plenty of new stuff. We saw new IPs, we saw new tech, and we saw new hardware. Microsoft gave us Smartglass and confirmed a new Gears. Sony gave us three new IPs. And Nintendo is launching with Pikmin and Mario along with third party support.

I recall playing a demo. I don't think it was too close to Smash, but it was a party fighter.

It's strange how we can let so many things into our lives for so long, and not realize how we truly feel about them. I don't have a cat (allergic) but my family has a bird, and I have no idea what I'd do if he passed- no matter how annoying he can be.

...there are party fighting games on the Xbox?

All the casual titles over the Wii's lifespan are new IPs. The Brain games, Nintendogs, etc. They've also released Dillon's Rolling Western and Pushmo more recently. Art Style games too.

Wasn't interested at first...

I said this in another thread: we did it to ourselves. We hype ourselves up to expect something great and to be blown away.

There's been tech demos of some interesting ideas of how it can be done. But the closer we get to something like that, the more impressed I'll be.

Whoops, bad wording on my part. I meant CGI has gotten to the point of what "real time" is in games, and then looks better than that (or beyond it).

From watching this, I realize something.
