I don’t like Porsche’s as a general rule, but the Cayman is the first Porsche ever that I could see myself owning.

Is it just me or does the nose/front bumper somehow look....weird?

Wait till Lewis Hamilton takes a knee at the US Grand Prix in a couple of weeks and see this hit international waters

Musk S-curve = s for slow, shit, suspect

It would never happen. As a Tifoso (and a kiwi) I would rather see McLaren die than supply them with engines. Ron burnt those bridges a long time ago, and you reap what you sow.

America has never made a great car

Scrolled past someone’s fan fiction in an attempt to find a review of a video game, failed.

Every time I read a phrase like “had a check to us for the car the very next day” it takes me half a second to comprehend that the US still operates on physical money & cheques most of the time - which is just seems so odd.

I think you’ll find that players in rugby have been doing this kind of thing far longer than Aussie Rules, and better - insert standard rugby > American Football comment.

This is like Porsche’s obsession with putting the engine in the wrong place - it’s gotten to the point where it’s hurting them elsewhere. The very best rotary engines are still shit. They’re a great concept that just doesn’t work very well in the real world.

But I can hear you moan about Ferrari from over here

It’s almost like it was released without a bunch of the stuff they promised would be in it.

I ran low on oil at a 1hr race a few months ago and VTEC wouldn’t work - in the venerable B18c of my Integra, it needs oil pressure, coolant temp, throttle position and engine speed all reporting correctly for the Solenoid to engage.

The Jalopnik crusade against Ferrari is getting old....it just seems petty and childish.

Nah, completely different cars, so there’s no crossover on the name or anything, they wouldn’t try to sell the Camaro as a Monaro, there’d be riots

I can’t read that as it’s paywalled, but I think you’ll find that situation has changed and they’ve confirmed an updated Falcon for 2018

1) ProDrive (the previous “factory” Ford team) are developing a new Falcon for next year in tandem with DJR Team Penske - it’s just an evolution of the last model Falcon really, but it’ll look pretty much the same
