I think this video is great and would LOVE to see more of these created. Very smart and informative.

I think rafsal is saying that the Paris scene is the only criticism of Team America/Right Wing politics, which of course is a little silly considering the most popular song from the film is a mockery of right wing attitudes as well as the song Freedom Costs A Buck-0-Nine.

I don't quite understand why it's bullshit to not bring Bush into the film and I think it's because we're looking at how the film treated the lampooned actors differently. I don't think they were made fun of for their activism, but instead for thinking their celebrity lends more credibility to their activism. The

Does anyone recall the price of freedom? Do we know how if it has gone up or down since this film was released?

It's low hanging fruit in the sense that everybody and their mother made Bush jokes during that period of time. Plus, it didn't take a mental giant to figure out that the Team America represented everything Bush stood for.

And now, you've crossed a line...

" Nice diction should be a given."

What's wrong with Zach Braff? I thought he was universally loved.

Let me guess, you're terrible at beer pong?

This reminds me of when people tried to say Macklemore ripped off that one gay rapper because they had both used the same sax-effect. Just nonsense.

Oh lord. Fine, he used it an adjective there, I was wrong.

I don't think there's any sexism here, it was just meant to be a faux "ohhhh gotcha" moment. Clearly it did not go over well. How about we just agree to let this go and wish each other a good weekend?

First of all, nobody is using an adjective as a noun, it's using a noun as a noun. Secondly, it was only meant to be a little ribbin' of a joke so we really don't need to get up each other's rear ends over this.

It was just meant to be cheeky, I wouldn't worry about it.

Meh. Close enough.

Regardless, I'm saving this comment for the next time someone on this site tries to claim that "nobody ever refers to men as 'males.'"

"Additionally, in what I am sure is a complete coincidence, the restriction on men who have had sex with men even once since 1977 sits just below the restriction for people who've used needles to take drugs on the FDA's guidelines, because as we are all doubtless aware, gay and bisexual men are so very comparable to

He'll go down as one of the funniest guys to never break out to the level of say, like a Seth Rogan or something.

I knooooooow. I'm sorry. The only thing that'll make you feel better is if you point it out to somebody else.

I hold/held the same admiration for this gif until someone ruined it for me by pointing out that if you look in the upper right hand corner it becomes not-perfect. It's still f'ing amazing though.
