You’re confusing Nissan’s US made and USDM cars vs their Japanese made cars (like the Z and G35/G37). The quality issues plaguing Nissans in America are non-existent in their Japanese cars. Of course Infiniti isn’t quite up to the quality of Lexus, but they’re in a different league to cars like the Altima.

They had a great near-BMW platform with the G series.  Then they diluted it, and then renamed everything so that nobody even knows what they do anymore.

Sedans will continue to sell because car rental companies are slow to react in redefining their Basic, Premium, Ultrapremium, Full Size, Entry Luxury, Full Size Luxury, and Ultrasize Luxury Plus segments.

My German friend calls Hertz Munich, in German, asking whether they have automatic transmission cars. No.

went for a family ski vacation in Austria, flew in to Munich Germany and picked up the rental car, started driving towards austria. pull in to the border rest area to buy a weekly austrian highway pass (like paying a toll). park the car, go in and wait in line, just as I get to the front of the line, my dad comes

People hold their phones like that because they watch people on reality TV shows hold their phone like that - not realizing they’re only on speakerphone in the first place for the benefit of the viewing audience to listen to both sides of the exchange.

It was ages ago. We set off from Independence, MS and were headed for California. We got caught in a massive snowstorm in the Sierra Nevadas because some dickhead suggested we take a new route. We ran short on food, and well, had to eat what we could to survive.

To trick people into giving you actual money for something that is completely intangible?

I live in Alabama... Looking for a crap car in a Wal-Mart parking lot here is like shooting fish in a barrel.

When a ‘90s Malibu needs new tires, I’m pretty sure it’s considered totaled.

I mean, I heard the panel gaps were pretty big on the 3, but this is ridiculous.

Civil asset forfeiture is a massive scam, and as somebody that also uses sketchy means to acquire cars I can’t otherwise afford that is saying something

I’ll use this space to point out that in many places, the police don’t even have to charge you with a crime for asset forfeiture to occur. They really can pull you over, make some vague, baseless accusations about you being a criminal, and then take your things. They don’t have to even file charges, since that

Trust me, if you’re frequently drunk, it’s great

Boo!

Kamikazes, er, I mean bicyclists riding 2-wide rejoice as they can now inconvenience everybody again!

They should sell one with the 74HP 1.2L B38 from the Mini One First to guys who are just going to swap them anyway.

I love that Australians aren’t afraid to put down serious cash to buy and then convert to RHD vehicles not normally sold in Oz.
