@em37ib: Win + G brings the gadgets over everything. I want something more like placing tracing paper with gadgets over the desktop where I can interact with them and then hit the button again and It goes away.

@jaycustom79: And it looks a lot nicer... I don't use rainmeter because I like my desktop pretty empty but I have friends who have rainmeter and their desktop looks futuristic. For me it's all about having nice pictures for my desktop

@greyseal: Yeah, they seem to be lost. It was like oh we paid to develop this feature so lets just throw it in to windows 7. You can stack them to the side to create your own "sidebar"

I actually would love an FM transmitter in my phone or ipod touch. I like the radio for a change in music. (I do have i heart readio but it only works with wi-fi)
