I don't think Rockstar does demos. I don't think it would be the biggest deal in the world if you got the game by... other means. To see if your system could handle it. And then if it can, buy the game. Because as you said, you aren't going to buy it otherwise.

This is a situation where "other means" doesn't equal a

Ignorance isn't the biggest insult ever, it means you don't know something.

And you can't just assume GTA V will be another badly optimized PC Port. Look to Max Payne 3, it wasn't a port and the last I checked people were pretty happy with how it performed PC wise. It was also built with the RAGE engine. Like GTA V.

And I stand corrected. After checking the Steam Hardware survey stats it seems almost half use 2 core CPUs and half use 4 core CPUs.
A lot of people are behind the times.
    http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/cpus/

But I'm sure those people with dual core CPUs know that GTA IV basically REQUIRES Quad Core to run good.

Standard. As in quad core is standard now a days. Dual core was standard up until about 2007. 8 Core will be the standard in a few years.

I'm bummed we have to wait to play it with better graphics, but I'm still unbelievably excited to get to play it at all lol

Minimum specs = Yeah... you can run it. Barely. Turn everything down/off and the lowest resolution possible. While in your case, yes it's playable... at like 2fps. Get a better pc instead of crying that your pc can't play it. And using "can you run it" is not a good way to tell if you can PLAY it effectively.
    And

GTA V Previews go up, immediatly people start nit picking things to gripe about.
On IGN people are crying it's not going to look better then GTA IV.

Newsflash: THE SYSTEM CAN'T HANDLE GRAPHICS MUCH BETTER THEN GTA IV. On top of that, the game's scope and landscape and depth have went through the roof. What did you

    "Frustrating" "boring as fuck"
lol Go back to call of duty guys.

Yeah some side missions/activities were boring, but GTA IV was an amazing game. Still is.

I don't know how ancient your PC is but I've got a BUDGET system, A8-3870k Apu and I can play La Noire and GTA IV and it isn't "so horribly laggy" in any way. Turn your damn settings down. And make sure you're using a STANDARD quad core cpu.

I get great frame rates when using "dual graphics" with a Radeon 6670. A

I think you're just trolling or something. We'll be lucky to have 30fps 1080p graphics with these "next gen" consoles. X360 and Ps3 were 30fps 720p games (some were less then 720p) (oh and I know "like two or three games were 1080p on Ps3" Keep dreaming your 4k dreams though.

$999 FOR THE CARD. Not including other required hardware. 4k Is about 5 years off from being attainable by the mass of consumers.

Your mother's dirty hole is cringe worthy :)

    Sorry for trolling lol

    :)

    I SAID GOOD DAY! lol

Well if the customer wasn't willing to pay every chance they got, they wouldn't be so compelled to do it so often.

I guess you should have never asked "Who cares" Good Day.

Says the guy who doesn't care about something, yet he has to comment to tell someone he doesn't care. I say if you took the time to comment ANYTHING then obviously you care just a little bit.

I love Valve and the positive things they do for Gaming as a whole. However Activision Blizzard doesn't have to copy Valve to be successful. They're already very very successful.
