The creators have been unequivocally clear that their ultimate aim is to make the greatest crime simulation and satire of America they can- ultimately resulting in a fully realised United States with a complete and utterly realistic simulation. Dan Houser has literally said that. That is their end game. Their ultimate

If you use companions, spellcasting is most definitely the biggest problem with the combat in skyrim. The reason it works solo is because 90% of the spells have splash damage, but the same quality of life improvement that makes magic usable renders companions dead very, very quickly.

Spell casting and ranged combat in general, isn't really the issue with Skyrim. That stuff is all at least functional. Melee on the other hand, that's pretty bad.

Rockstar has done this better in the past. So many other games have gotten third-person aiming right that I can't quite fathom why Rockstar can't catch up. Even more strangely, their own 2012 game Max Payne 3 had some of the finest third-person shooting controls I've ever used. Payne had a well-considered combination

The only thing i agree with is that there should be a way point system to show you where your going, like Saints Row. Otherwise, everything is a non issue and your blowing it out of proportion. I dont use free aiming because the game almost needs assist aiming. You need assist aiming for things like rampage missions

As long as we're complaining about things:

1. Why can't I save my own outfit presets?
It's just annoying to have to make outfits from scratch every time I switch back to Franklin...

2. Why, when I switch characters, doesn't the car I bought off the internet for thousands of dollars and then spent thousands more

The reticule is, at least in my game only a single dot, and so damn small and light that I often find myself going "where the fuck am I aiming?" because I can't fucking see the thing

Foul balls are one thing. You can make a winner-take-all -life-sucks-get-over-it argument to, within reason and not including physical contact with a child or literally stealing it from their hands, to keep a ball when a child is close by. (I'd like to think I would still do it, though) But a lot of those weren't foul

I'd say NOT to have cats if you don't want them on the furniture. Cats are lazy loungers and cat lovers know this. Seems silly to keep pets that you don't want on the furniture or in the house. Same principle with dogs, they love to run and play and prove their awesomeness to their respectable owners, not be tied up

Totally agree, I hate the swearing apologists who fail to realize its the verbal equivalent of "ummm, like, uhhhh" and other verbal static.

It is, but I hate the commentary. Too much fuck and shit is said.

How does making things more real show imagination...? Sometimes, content creation has nothing to do with the consoles themselves. The amount of time and manpower needed to make every item interactive and look real would probably end up putting a $150 price tag on your game or something. What you need is better

So you decide to bash the hell out of Microsoft because physics in GTAV aren't up to your standards?

I'm not sure your rant really belongs on this article.. You're getting pissy because the physics are silly? And then going off on how games aren't as realistic as possible yet? Um, okay.

I, for one, love the goofy GTAV physics.

Thankfully I was a mission or two away from what you've just spoiled. I imagine a lot of other people will be pretty mad though.

Thanks for the spoiler warning, ass.

Spoiler alert, asshole.

If you think comment moderation is somehow a restriction on "free speech", you have a very limited understanding of what that term means.

No but really, what happens?
