Moral of the story: They tried some things. Some things didn't work out. Concessions were made to make it work. So far, 30 hours in and no Blighttown Redux (if you know what I mean. If you played on console, then you probably do). In my mind, that's a win, no matter the price it took to get it there.

Co-op is great. You can summon up to two people at a time. However, it's limited in scope, as you're locked to the specific area the summoning is done in, meaning gates will go up that prevent you and your help from wandering off to other areas while the summons are active. Summons are dispelled when you kill an area

It not only slows recovery this time around, it practically stops the recovery entirely. Additionally, it seems that even basic baddies can and will guard-break you as opposed to attacking your shield if you turtle up, and the results of that can be punishing.

Except it's not multiple lines of generic reply dialog, it's a constant stream of unique dialog right up until the point that they repeat the final line that they had to say. Anyone who's not exhausting dialog in a Souls game is either doing it wrong, or knows exactly what they are doing. Everyone else, best shut up

My rule is to ignore everything except gems, gold, health & magic potions, magic weapons and armor, and dragon bits. Everything else is noise that must be filtered out in an effort to snag all the cool stuff listed above.

Like I told someone else, I can't stand that BoC 'fight.' I lost my patience with it so badly, I just never bothered to play past that point again. I love the rest of the game too much to be very bothered about it. There's hundreds of hours of entertainment to be had without needing to deal with that bs just for the

That's fine. I just liked the name tbh. Played through once, didn't like NG+ so I spent the next however many dozens of hours experimenting with builds and doing co-op. Just kind of ran with the assumption of what the other ending was and never bothered to look more deeply into it, which worked out so very well for

I never chose the Dark Lord ending so was actually fully unaware that was from that ending. I kind of feel foolish but now I know what that ending actually is.

Shit. yeah. I only got the Link the Fire ending. Never got the other one.

Shit, it was. I only got the Link the Fire ending.

Pretty sure a lot of people see porn by the age of 13, but the thought of raping their sisters probably doesn't cross their minds after it, let alone the follow-through on it. That's flat-out psychopathic. I wonder if any amount of good parenting could prevent that.

If they can fix the low-level twinking issues, it might not be so bad. The shitty part of invasions is being a 0-+5 wielder and meeting an ascended pyro +15 asshole who one-shots you. A fair invasion fight can be really fun!

Expert troll effort here.

I swear Blue Sky Black Death are some of the best beat and downtempo composers in the game. I adore their work and their independent efforts are almost without par. Just go check out Glaciers, if you haven't. Beautiful work.

Indeed. (Reference!)

edited== Ok I get it you think you were being funny but it didn't work.

At the least, dancesafe.org is still very much a thing. Testing is certainly possible and they make reagent kits a simple matter to purchase and use and will still help interpret results if needed even if they won't take anonymous samples for analysis any more (at least that I can tell). Sadly, since many promoters

A 30-minute walk along the lake and river behind my apartment does so much to undo a day's worth of stress. Enjoying the warbling of the water, taking in the sights, and momentarily forgetting all the little nagging things that exhaust my thoughts. I've learned to leave my phone behind, leave my earbuds behind, and
