It not only slows recovery this time around, it practically stops the recovery entirely. Additionally, it seems that even basic baddies can and will guard-break you as opposed to attacking your shield if you turtle up, and the results of that can be punishing.

If it took two seasons to cover events in ASOS with touches on ADWD/AFFC at the end of that, then it's a safe bet that there's enough material in AFFC/ADWD to carry two seasons as combined, those comprise incredibly thick plots over a hefty number of pages. I don't think AFFC is drivel concerning secondary characters

Except it's not multiple lines of generic reply dialog, it's a constant stream of unique dialog right up until the point that they repeat the final line that they had to say. Anyone who's not exhausting dialog in a Souls game is either doing it wrong, or knows exactly what they are doing. Everyone else, best shut up

In that same boat. Strongly considering subscribing to cable on terms just long enough to enjoy this show, though I'd prefer not to. I am fighting my conviction to never pay for cable again quite strongly right now. Don't want to wait a year to take this all in, and don't want to pirate it, either. Decisions,

Oh wow the Titan of Braavos looks amazing. That's better than it looked in my head by a long shot.

Nothing needs to be said. Here's a semi-random gif instead.

Full disclosure: I'm terrified.

Someday I'll learn my lesson about image-searching opportunistic, infectious pathogens.

My rule is to ignore everything except gems, gold, health & magic potions, magic weapons and armor, and dragon bits. Everything else is noise that must be filtered out in an effort to snag all the cool stuff listed above.

Yes, butane extract can contain a small amounts of adulterants and is dangerous to produce due to the rather volatile nature of butane. That's why the CO2 supercritical fluid extraction method is often preferred in professional manufacture, but butane for homebrew and black market manufacture is more common as they

I've been staunchly in the legal/decrim camp for possession of small amounts of just about everything, but manufacture and distribution of highly dangerous, sometimes very addictive drugs like methamphetamine, heroin, PCP, and others of that ilk should remain illegal and tightly enforced, with very stiff penalties.

lol, Nice logical leap on that one. Hope you didn't break an ankle.

It's pretty well documented that the early push to criminalize cannabis in the US in the early 1900's had racial motivations for doing so. Of course, as time advanced it became primarily economic motivations for a select few to globalize this push. Get your history on.

As for "it's a plant," lots of things are plants. Doesn't make them automatically perfect

And? People like things cheap and easy. Is that the plant's fault?

Good thing it's not the only delivery system, then.

As a counterpoint, I liked it. The dissonance of the music vs. the content of the scene that preceded it was very jarring and disorienting which really aligned my mindset into Jamie's possible reaction over what had just happened. Even having been well apprised of events in the book ahead of watching the season

'Forgot About Frey'

Even accepting that the cast credits have only rough attributions to character locations and houses, I'm still bothered by Iwan Rheon being pinpointed to Pyke. Patrick Malahide, Alfie Allen, and Gemma Walen, would make more sense.

I love the concept, but to me it looks like a Minecraft chunk error. Better relog.
