Isn't this only partially true? I played extensively on the US West Realm in Diablo II and distinctly remember Realm character (and active game) storage being server-side and I can remember very few issues with hacked items or characters because of it. I even just checked classic.battle.net to confirm my suspicion

Really putting the "ham" in "hamburger."

I don't see what people get out of it.

Those that know, know. Those that don't, well...clearly don't. Knowledge about reverence for specific rare/unique animals was something I've had from a young age, and it came in part from knowing people who try their best to maintain their native cultures or simply from my father's intense interest in studying the

Imagine if you grabbed two people and discovered they're assholes. Would you then conclude all humans are assholes?

The only terrible people are those who blindly cast their votes based on the letter appended to the end of the candidate's name. Did you? If so, you're a terrible voter. But then, you'd be in ample company. Seems to be the only qualification all too many people cast their vote on.

There was ample compromise leading up to the implementation of the ACA. There was ample time to argue against it, vote against it, not approve it, railroad it to failure, or whatever else they felt was their obligation to do prior to being voted by the House and confirmed by the Senate and ultimately signed into law

I find it particularly interesting that Chinese tourists have developed a reputation for being rude—because the last time I traveled abroad, it was Americans who had a rap for being borderline intolerable.

Nothing created in Minecraft is of any value

Its way harder than you'd think.

This stuff is a plague. I'm kind of frustrated by the fact that this stuff has been around and available for years, and while it would make the occasional headline it was rarely talked about. Ever since WA and CO made history last election, it really seems like this stuff is all over the news all the time as

Something about the way moonlight reflects off of clouds gets me every time in this game. Pretty much every time I'm driving by night in full (or near enough) moonlight and I see it peeking from behind the cloud cover, it just makes me slow down, get out of the car, and just sort of....stop for a meditative moment.

Hell, at least a person can play the game at all in spite of the online server issues. Kind of a major factor that differentiates GTAV from the other two, no? They're not getting a free pass, hell go look at the R* twitter feed and people are lighting them on fire. Those that aren't, are too busy playing the perfectly

Therapy. It can help you with this.

I guess I don't understand what you mean by 'almost impossible to say,' it's not a difficult word at all. Unusual? Sure. Difficult to pronounce? Hardly. Unless, your point is that it's not pronounced like the Swedish version. Which, then....that's irrelevant. We're speaking English, despite the origins of the word.

Sounds like fun. Going to sit on it for a week or so and let a few of the kinks get ironed out before I take it for a spin, though. I have limited game time most nights and wouldn't want to spend most of it wrestling with a dodgy server system. Still have plenty of SP content to keep me occupied for now, anyway.

The only thing I've commented on in this entire thread is the driving controls, and pretty much because the comment from you that prompted my reply was regarding how you found the driving to be "complete ass." I disagreed. Can't stop you from making crazy logical leaps from my comments on the driving controls being

These videos stand as a perfect testament to what's possible when you are capable of getting your head around the driving mechanics as opposed to harping them endlessly.

So your totally legitimate opinion is fine, but my counter to it is riding R*'s dick? w/e, dude.

Plane controls are ace. If you can't land a plane, that's on you. It's easy as pie. Do wish helicopters were a few degrees less sensitive, but they're still manageable.
