This comment makes no sense.

So the person with a negative impression of the game is the troll, not the person making passive insults?

Yep, you said it. Online-only killed all desire for me as well, and you know problems are inevitable.

Honestly for its time I thought it was quite lovely. It's suffering on account of being so low-res compared to all the other screencaps on this page IMO.

Not for picking tech. The reference chart for Civ II was a tree, but it was on a fold-out poster!

Endless Space 2. It's no-nonsense in presentation, but the emergent patterns in the branches are lovely, IMO.

Yes. Yes they were.

With their typical plot-lines, I'd think that would be highly debatable.

I dunno, I find the fact that there's over a dozen video clips autoplaying at once and my computer isn't crying about it to be rather novel in some respect.

I've been dreaming lately about owning a touch-screen display I can un-dock from its stand and communicate through some wireless form with the CPU tower. I dream of being able to kick back on my couch with a 24" display across my lap and touch-tap-tapping my way through, I don't know, a new Civilization game for one.

It's the eyes on those costumes. It's the costume eyes that bug me. I'm okay with...well, anyone doing whatever they're okay with doing, no deal to me one way or the other but dear fucking god those eyes on those suits are uncanny, glassy, lifeless, all too cloying in their empty expression of joy and it irks

The minimalist style and symmetry evoking late art-deco style is, to me, the most enjoyable aspect. Guy's got an eye for clean shapes and sensible balance (pardon the pun), despite the physical hindrance degrading the cleanliness of the line work.

Oof. Not digging that eye-searing chartreuse color they made for the grass. My eyes!

Missed your thread before I brought up FO3 myself. Everything you said right here is exactly how I feel as well.

If we're talking pure atmosphere, choosing New Vegas over any of the FO3 content just seems...I don't know, it just seems wrong. I do think that NV did a few things better than FO3, but overall atmosphere was not one of them.

Oh and I made an error but I'm more keen to make a reply than make an edit so its seen—

With the Vita I was mainly driving at touchscreen/biometric controls being integrated into a gameplay control unit was a precedent that Nintendo did not in fact set. I get that the gameplay concepts the WiiU will develop based on its controller utilized alongside the primary display is a new shake, but the concept of

It's a safe bet that neither Sony nor Microsoft would've ever explored motion-based gaming were it not for the success of the Wii though.

You weren't kidding when you said 'Viewtiful Joe meets Pikmin,' that style is strong with this title.

Unless Raiden can swallow whole a 50-foot dragon-robot God with a demon cat formed from his own hair, I'm doubting it will be a comparable experience.
