Haha, I just finished posting the map from Ultima VII then looked down and saw this comment. massive oversight on the article, eh?
A personal favorite.
It's simple. Whatever door you stand in front of on the overworld shows a location preview that matches the symbol on the map. You just need to identify what route you need to follow, keep the previews in mind, and follow the doors.
You're being ignorant. The REASON the "Japanese" is there is BECAUSE of the style of RPG they typically develop, AKA Final Fantasies, Star Oceans, Phantasy Stars, Dragon Warriors, et al.
Not really. It's used in a distinctive fashion referring to a specific style of RPG that neither DeSouls or DaSouls are, for a reason.
ANY track from Tactics could be posted in here and still get tons of love.

Tactics track. This battle theme in particular. Something about what happens at the :50-ish mark just gives me goosebumps. Beautiful track. I could listen to this one for hours (and have). Hard to believe it's a battle tune.

Oh man, that tag... I lol'ed
And they'll see $0 for this from me. I'm not sure I would have wanted to play it even if it had been free.
Lack of camera inversion options and touchy camera controls with no recourse to reduce the sensitivity. Both kill my desire to play something almost every time.
Doesn't seem all that unusual or different than exploiting (I use that loosely) any other animal for its fiber, as long as it's not sacrificing comfort or practicality simply for the sake of wearing your dog's coat.
Sorry to say, it may be just a thought, but it's a pretty empty thought.
It's a glorified digital whack-a-mole. Might be a hit with whack-a-mole enthusiasts.
There's absolutely nothing "Tactics" about this in the least. Not one thing, aside from sharing the FF name and FFV job classes.
Bad translations.
