I’d say if money wasn’t an issue then if I wanted something, I’d get it. Since it’s not anybody have an idea what a good rule of thumb for an affordable car is? I’m talking about something like the rule of thumb that you should buy a house that is up to 3x your annual income.

I got a big ass screwdriver set from Sears when I had plenty of money (even though I didn’t need that many screwdrivers), then when I didn’t have money I bought stuff from Amazon, Wal-Mart and Harbor Freight if I’m being really cheap. Mostly these days, even though I have extra money again, I still buy from Harbor

Am I the only one who dislikes the gullwing doors? They just look gimmicky.

Correction: Clubman is not a Countryman. Still looks good though.

I’ve always wanted a Mini but last year I realized my hate for coupes was much stronger. I never really liked the Countryman, but I learned to love the Countryman. Four doors, more space, and all the Mini styling that I love. Maybe I’ll be getting one of these next year!

My wife bought me one for my birthday. I’m sorry to say I’ve only used it once in just a couple if months. Maybe I could try streaming PS4 games to the bedroom now that I have a better wireless router?

We need more NPCP bikes!

Just out of curiosity, I’ve always wanted an old Mini, but I feel like my 6 foot 2 self would be miserable driving one. Do you think this would be the case?

I’ve been so busy having fun with side missions I forgot there was a plot

Right before Grand Theft Auto San Andreas came out I was in need of a PS2 to play it. Both my brother and I had a preorder to play it (before preorder bonuses were a thing apparently), and my brother had his own PS2 but there was no way we were going to share as that’s not something two teens do. Anyway, my mom

I hope this becomes larger like the “Meet The...” series for Team Fortress 2

I’ll start to worry about my score after the game. Then I’ll try to S-Rank almost everything I can. So far I’ve probably learned more about what I can do by pushing the boundaries that will be useful later when I do aim for perfection.

Correction: it’s Row52.com, not Row42

I swear when I read Doug’s articles I think I’m reading a car version of Douglass Adams

If you have the tools and time but are cheap you can head over to a junk yard where you pull your own parts. I got a replacement window regulator and I got hooked. Being able to “practice” on a junkyard car that you don’t own helps build confidence and gets rid of or at least reduces the fear that you’ll break

Nice to see my tax money going to fix the aftermath of these rednecks fun. I'd hate to live next to them.

My God, it’s worse than I expected! Managed by an outside group, paid partially by people who may never even use it. It almost sounds like a better idea to either surrender control to the city or privatize it. Even then I don’t know if either sound like they’d work, probably because politicians want more control and

Non-New Yorker here also: I assume it has something to do with the fact that the department in charge of maintenance might take a long to identify, plan and do something about the problems. Even slower when the city doesn’t properly fund said maintenance department. It’s a mystery to me why people can’t seem to care

Cool, I thought I heard your voice in some other Gawker videos. It’s nice to see some video expansion on here, even if means only seeing Highlight Reel twice a week.

Probably very hard. If I remember correctly the right rear wheel is attached to the transmission system of the motorcycle so... You’d have to detach the mounts and probably swap the transmission parts too.
