So this story didn’t involve a real car but seems relevant to me. Back in the day I played The Getaway on the PS2, but I had some trouble with the driving mechanics. Somehow I discovered that it was easier to drive backwards than the normal way. So I ended up doing most of the driving segments of the game in reverse.

I wish I could go through some mountains, but none are near me and I don’t want to mess with the carbs during an entire trip. Also, my bike could use an overhaul. Someday though!

Great read. I’ve got a ‘79 GS750L. I’d recommend trying to clean your own carbs (properly) sometime. It’s the most complicated thing I’ve done on my GS (and that’s saying a lot) but totally satisfying.
