Haha! I might have to use that phrase sometime.

I still appreciate your constructive criticism! Thanks!
Texas is also my go-to answer!!
You know every time I here that phrase, my mind goes straight to Predator. Thus sometimes it feels like they ask me that as if I am some kind of alien (pun intended). I think it would be more appropriate to ask "If you don't mind me asking, what is your heritage?" for obvious reasons.
Totally. You're right. I meant it's a problem, for people like me, to describe my ethnicity, on job applications or to other people, other than Latino because I don't know what my ancestry that far back.
I get you. My family has been in Texas ever since it became a sovereign nation, and possibly before that, so I'm not sure how I can prove I'm puro mexicano other than my last name and skin color. Also, when people ask me where I'm from, I like to say "America" as I walk away from them.
Hispanic, Latino, Chicano, are all names that describe a group of people that are of Native American (North or South) decent plus European, African, or any other outside ethnicity under the sun. I think we're the only mixed group of people that have a classification. It's pretty messed up that these little girls have…
Indeed. Well I will be the first to admit when I wrong. Thanks for clarifying that point. This is something that is relatively new to me and I'm trying my best to understand. I apologize to all who were offended by my ignorance.
I understand completely. It doesn't help that I have trouble conveying my thoughts to words. Thanks for your understanding.
I'm talking about attraction and not validation. It's my opinion and I am not forcing it upon anyone or making it a standard. We all judge, whether we admit it or not. As humans, we ought to judge a person on their character rather than their appearance. That's what I was trying to say.
Exactly! I do my best to follow the golden rule with all people.
Okay, I admit I worded that first sentence incorrectly. I'm not inferring that "I'm a man, therefore my judgement of a woman supersedes all other opinion" and I apologize if it sounded as such. Honestly, besides online dating without pictures, how often are we initially interested in a person when looks aren't in the…
Hopefully y'all ladies can take comfort in the fact there are men, like myself, who gauge a woman's inner beauty as much, if not more, as their outward appearance. So maybe we'll get to a point in our society where we will be interested in a person, at first, but then be able to determine whether or not we are…
I didn't see this in the ClipArt section of MS Word.
One of my favorite GIFs, hands down!
I thought that was implied. You may as well extend that to any city animal: rats, pigeons, squirrels, and some humans.
