I think iCloud is a big step in the right direcetion, and have never had any problems with it. My contacts have never disappeared, find my iPhone works as it should, iCloud docs sync well, iTunes Match, they all seem to work for me.

that could be it... a couple google searches stated there are viruses that install themselves onto the bios... so I jumped to conclusions

I just repaired my laptop from a nasty virus that installed itself onto my BIOS! ...or at least that's what it seemed to do... no BIOS screen on boot up, no windows logos, could hear the whir of the fan, then nothing... I re-flashed the BIOS.... and it works now... so that's why I assume the BIOS is what the problem…

Doesn't this completely refute the "impulse buying" advice given not to long ago... if we don't have our information stored... but make it easier to put in to the forms... isn't that...
