I owned one and it was full boost about 2900-3100 rpms. With good snow tires I passed many people where I lived with no issue.. I can understand the issues with tq steer people claim. But dont really remember ever having an issue with it. Had a good steering rack lsd etc so you just had to be aware of it.
a lot of the guys on the forums are getting about 32-35 hwy average.
Quattro (in lots of their cars not all) are rwd biased if I'm not mistaken. My dad had a 335i xdrive for snow and it worked really well surprisingly, I believe it's true 40/60 split. But it's not comparable to Awd in a subaru. Where one tire spins it puts more power in the other wheel which is quite awesome. My Sti is…

I can attest.. it really is that good. Most companies are front biased some are rear biased. Not many are true Awd. I know from experience that the 335I drive and the Sti have true Awd. The 335i my dad had was 40/60 I believe and my Sti is 49/51 - 40/60 I believe through its multiple diffs

Then he had the NERVE to say that my personal choice had consequences, that I would affect everyone around me. Well I've had it with him, I'm looking for a new mechanic. The problem is that so many mechanics are bought and paid by the automotive industry that ALL of them are insistent about my car having brakes. Most…
For those of you who are still reading, the ZF 8-speed autobox continues to be great, as usual. It's smooth as butter around town and manual shifts are effortlessly quick. Can I tell you a secret? You can have your fancy DSGs and PDKs; the ZF8 is my favorite thing that doesn't have a third pedal. It just works…
The sad news is you can't get the convertible with a manual gearbox at all, like you can on the 228i coupe. The M235i 'vert gets a manual option, but this one doesn't. The other downside is the weight. The 228i convertible comes in at 3,625 pounds with an automatic, to the slushbox coupe's 3,345 pounds.
You've mentioned before that Americans don't want to drive slow cars the "only" do 0-60 in 10 seconds, but let's face it who really takes their car to the max on an on ramp anyway.
They recalled one car.
awesome story. *after the fact* oh.. by the way.. forgot to mention something....
black guy blackington gave me a nice long chuckle
This prime example is said to pack over 2,000 horsepower, and that seems to be the problem because according to Race Car Things, it already spin out the day before ending up in the pond. It also got damaged, that's why they ran it without its rear diffuser on the second day.
I thought that myself. Granted, I understand that in endurance races youre exhausted and he probably lost line of sight and thought he was in the clear.. but he should have put one and two together and slowed down to let him shoot off. But this is all in hindsight of course.
I would imagine. I go through there by costing through first corner in fourth than flat out in fourth on the way out... In iracing of course.lol
due to its short wheel base and high top.. it has a high roll ocer rate and is barred from racing in most series and all scca events.. so never got the point of this car..
