My dad and one of my brothers played football on scholarships. I love watching the game, always have. And when my son decided to play a sport, I told him to not even bother asking to play football. And my dad never said a word.

There is, unfortunately, one fatal flaw here. “First of all: morning is a great time to work out—it’s when your brain is freshest and primed to build new habits. “It’s that part of the day when your willpower is at its strongest and before distractions start hitting you.” This is simply not true for me. My willpower

Totally agreed on all counts. I think using half the season for the riot would have been perfect, or even 3/4 of it - just give the audience a little oxygen to breathe. The season started on an incredibly tense note and pretty much ended on a proverbial coalmine cave in. Agree too that it felt they started with this

For me, the claustrophobic feel of the 3-Days Over 13 Episodes is just daunting as hell. Which is the point, I’m sure, but it feels like the show is chewing a bit too much on the idea the audience will feel obligated to strap in and see what happens for themselves (and not be repulsed from what they hear about

As I recall, he pissed off the FBI the first day he visited their HQ and practically insulted the agency in front of their wall of fallen agents.

Of course. The “and” linking the two phrases above is just a conjunction, wasn’t meant to make one clause dependent on the other. Though I don’t believe Clinton had the power to obstruct justice in any meaningful sense in her capacity as a private citizen and presidential candidate.

Perhaps. If he’s convicted while Trump is still president, he may have his sentence commuted (see: Scooter Libbey), but then he’d become the go-to fall guy for the Trump admin. to blame (no matter how farfetched).

That hammer shit that GOP always trots out is the CORRECT PROTOCOL when you get a new Government phone.

This whole “talk about Hillary instead” thing is getting awfully old. Trumpand his supporters need to get over the election and the campaign and deal with what their guy is doing now, not be all like

It’s not karma. It’s irony.

Looks like the karma comment was removed or deleted, thank god, because what a fucking gross way to respond to several people being shot (fortunately, it sounds like all the injuries are non-life threatening).

Agreed. 1. Murder is not the answer 2. It only gives the other side more power.

What people are saying is that it’s not clear he even *was* a dipshit. The video evidence is not compelling and actually being guilty is not a requirement for brutal treatment in North Korea.

Well played!

Tom Nichols is a very sober-minded fellow who loathes Trump but still nevertheless constantly tells people to remain level-headed and not give in to hyperbole when it comes to the terrible things Trump does. Which makes this response from him today a great shock:

what do you think you’d get in Montana for body-slamming a congress person?

have you heard yet??
