Many years ago, I owned a 1990 Supra breifly. The thing blew a rod 3 months after I bought it, and I sold it for 1/5 what i paid. I do not recommend anyone to buy that car.

Update from Germany:

I’m back from my vacation just in time for the elections to heat up. Germans vote on September 24th.

Merkel’s CDU/CSU is ahead of Schulz’s SPD 40 - 25. The big news is the debate. Viewers and pundits seem to think Merkel won. Merkel was more honest, likable, and knowledgeable than Schulz, as rated

I think possibly both things are true.

Those metric to imperial conversions don’t track. No way is 2 feet almost a meter.

Courier increases the length like 30% over Times New Roman. That’s why people try to get away with it.

Eh, the only nitpick is starting a paragraph with a quote. That may be more of a style thing. But I do find most students use quotes without understanding why and when to use them in general, or without linking them to their overall argument. 95% of the time, a quote cannot stand by itself, and 95% of my students

Here’s what I think when I read your papers:

Yes. this was the most frustrating thing. It does the opposite of make you feel like you’re progressing because you lose your progression between seasons. Especially for someone like me who doesn’t play as many competitive matches and so never got to catch up with where I was supposed to be.

Fuck that. If I’m going to be cramped into an economy seat 2-4 times a year for a 8 hour cross Atlantic flight, I’m going to be comfortable.

And it’s official. Esports tournaments are becoming giant bubble. $850,000 is way too much for this game.

Hmmm. How many sites received a similar request? Which ones quietly acceded to it?

I’m sorry I’m not sorry about Roadhog.

Update from Germany:

This is my last update until September. I’ll be on vacation most of August. But the good news is that September will be the real start of the German election season, with the election late that month.

The big news over the last week has the shooting in a nightclub in Constance. The German-Iraqi

Riverfront stadium was a big part of my childhood. I remember those slant railings. We always got those upper deck seats because they were like 5 bucks. Dad always made sure we were no where near those railings though. And we never heard the end of the story of the guy who almost fell over them.

I dunno, it worked for apple.

I really enjoyed this exposé. Blizzard is really a unique company. Very few game companies would have stuck with the property and innovated and improved the way they did. Fewer still would cut off a source of revenue by cutting out the auction house, even if it was wrecking gameplay. Few would delay a game or

Quite possibly he answered the questions wrongly by saying he’s working for the event rather than he’s reporting on it for an international company. It’s also possible he had the wrong visa for doing so.

There are special visas for players. They get something like an athlete’s visa. While it’s called a visa for athletes, players in many competive competitions (e.g., chess) are on the same program.

As far as the episodes and other TV production items, it’s for easy of access to employees from remote locations. Likely they’re all stored in some intranet accessible only by the company’s VPN. But hack someone with high level access, and you can probably get in. This makes it easy for employees to view production

Guess we all know for sure the answer to the ultimate debate: Kirk or Picard?
