Aw. But she was inserting you into the memory! That’s sweet.

how is it scary? they update the game frequently and consistently, stuff happens. they wouldn’t do something so drastic on purpose without explicit and timely communications. and what is the alternative solution? this snafu is causing less damage than outright taking servers offline til the hot patch. and blizzards…
I should add - from a size standpoint it’s a 5. So it’s really not that much of a change. Playing barefoot isn’t all that different, alot of people tape their feet and ankles up for it to simulate shoes and the like.
Four “field” players plus a goalie for each team. Adults play with a regular size 5 ball. The court is about 25x40 yards. There is a line from sideline to sideline seven yards from the goal. That is the penalty box. Switch ends after the first period. Flip a coin after the second period to choose ends for the third…
Field is way shorter, naturally (because death if it’s a technical full field). The ball is actually often pumped more like a beach volleyball, it’s lighter and designed such that even if gets wet the sand won’t stick to it. It’s harder to get spin and velocity on it, but you can create a tee on the sand for a corner…
I can tell you firsthand it is exhausting - but it’s an absolute blast. I absolutely love beach volleyball as well, they’re both great, sand soccer is a different beast. Alot of tournaments in the younger years made you jump in the ocean/great lake when you lost, which was an awesome way to “celebrate” a loss.
That is what bugs me the most. I cut cable years ago, but I still want to watch live sports. This line is the most loaded I’ve seen in one of these pieces, and leaves out much of the struggle that ESPN never engaged in, but desperately needed to. Ten articles could be written about this line.
Games aren’t push A to kick, push B to punch anymore. With hundreds of command options and play-styles, it’s pretty fun to have a basic skill-set in a game - then to watch the pros operate on a whole different level.
So wait... you mean that we’re never getting ESPN8: the Ocho?
I haven’t been impressed with the content on Compete so far, but I think the idea of an esports vertical makes a lot of sense due to the increase in popularity, money, and investment from actual sports entities (the Heat, 76ers, and former NBA-er Rick Fox have poured significant money into their respective eSports…
Didn’t cost $15.2 Billion to do that.
Luckily for him he gets to keep playing because some rich Russian dudes keep in buying him chips
It’s the Browns. This is like Schrödinger’s Draft Pick. Whoever they choose has a 50% chance of being a dead cat.
He doesn’t need to be careful, he has a gun:
Came here to post this - leaving satisfied.
I wanna say he did some upper crusty sport like polo or some shit like that.
It’s more watchable than Temple of Doom, which has sections I actively hate, but also more forgettable. Both are vastly inferior to Raiders and Last Crusade.
“Excuse me, ma’am? Ma’am!? Do you have a minute to discuss ethics in gaming journalism?” MA’AM?!?”
