My colleague who is from Northern Germany just told me that while most protesters were from outside the Hamburg area, the violent portesters (the so called black bloc), are actually based in the Hamburg area.
This chart does a good job of comparing leagues, but not sports. Clearly soccer is king world-wide, so any idea where FIFA relates on this chart?
Both the NFL and NCAA football are feeling increasingly bloated and spectacle-focussed, and the moral issues with head injuries aren’t going away any time soon, but I doubt an on field death will dramatically change anything. I think the sports feel drastically different niches in the sporting world.

You might qualify for the blue card program. It’s targeted to high skilled workers. They have a website. They are high priority, and it’s easiest to get a job first before applying for residency.
I would tend to agree. Her “grand coalition” with the SPD is already pretty successful. partnering with the AfD is almost certainly the least likely outcome.
It’s not clear, but given the EU internal borders are open, I’d wager a lot are. Most are German, judging from the signs though.
