Or hell, most of them were just vague omages to the original stories, with most vital details changed completely, done in a clever way. I really think they set the standard for presenting text/sms information in the genre, which is a critical aspect of modern detective stories.

The problem with this approach is assuming Trump will respond to logical arguments. Past evidence suggests this is unlikely.

Sorry, I seem to have screwed up my facts a little. He wasn’t removed from office, but he didn’t manage reelection, and his political authority was effectively eliminated.

Absolutely agree. The question was can you remove him for incomptence. You can’t.

Sadly, no. I think it’s for “High Crimes and misdemenors.” It is possible to censure him and limit his power though.

Normally I’d agree. But I have a fear that he’s isolating those agencies so they can’t resist his fascist policies. Fascists also have a habit of dividing power of their subordinates and starving them for access. Then it’s easier to purge later.

During the election, I said to a colleague about Trump: “If you are saying we can’t use his past statements and actions to indicate the quality of president he will be, then as scientists we’re fucked. You’re saying the past doesn’t help us predict the future?”
