Me too! At first I just thought maybe it was just me not adapting well, feeling better that you and others are angry too.

The tone of the whole site seems to have changed lately (maybe it has been something gradual that the older members noticed?), but I suddenly went from loving this site to really disliking it. To be

Wrote a post about this on Crosstalk:

The Gawker/Nick Denton empire is about getting $. This is only accomplished by getting clicks. A headline that expresses concern about a woman's emotional and personal decline, with a suggestion as to how she might improve—well, most folks won't give a shit enough to read it.

I also don't like the way that this site is going at all, I have made comments but they don't count for much as I am now confined to the grey, like a troll.

Jezebel needs to tread very carefully because they will start losing people. I've seen a lot of unhappiness in the comment section recently. On top of that, for

replying to promote.

I shouldn't have been, but I was. The comment is still up on my personal blog, so I know I was dismissed. Apparently saying that I am uncomfortable with where Jez has gone in it's commentary on Amanda Bynes is not acceptable. This isn't what this place is supposed to be about.

Thanks. I was just coming up with a response myself since I noticed mine had been taken down.

Chris Tucker is not in this movie as stated in article. The actor who I suppose was confused for him is Rob Brown of "Finding Forrester" and "Treme" fame. That's not Chris Tucker. That's Rob Brown.

I was a nanny for several years to an affluent family, and I did participate in a lot of these activities for the parents, but that's mostly because they were working. They did work a LOT, but when they were home, they were hanging out with the kids. Then they would go back to work after they were sleeping. I can say

Right! Mostly I live on veggie quesadillas, quinoa, baked veggies and pre-cooked fish...aka nothing that requires a lot of thought because I am lazy. Even someone like Rachael Ray to come by and whip me into shape and make more variety would be helpful...

Slight Fela vibe, Y/N?

That's pretty snarky and uncharitable. She's specifically taking Italian cooking lessons from an Italian chef. I can cook but that doesn't mean I've mastered it or every cuisine or have no recipes left to learn. Should humans stop improving themselves because they're adequate at one skill?

People who put their own bodies before those of our children should get paid more than $35,000/yr.

Chrises Evans and Pine.

Tom Hiddleston and David Tennant. Sexy AND charming.

Matt Bomer and Jude Law. Anthony Mackie and Ryan Gosling.
