@N-Robes: Hehehe. I wasn't dying per se, but I saw Brian liked the game and felt like ribbing him a bit.

Man, look at that HUD. So obtrusive. Right Brian? ;)

@Killer Toilet: Well I am not sure about that. It had more to do with HUD and readability than the types of missions. And I even had problems with COD4 that I didn't in MW2, things that IW acknowledged as problems, where your objective is to "get near item A" and there is no metric of how "near" you need to get to

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, because it's better than the game that came after it, "

A bit ironic a company with the name Evil Controllers is doing something so good. It is great to see a company doing this. It warmed my heart just in time to go to bed.

"He did it cruelly. He did it out of anger. He did it for an unbelievably petty reason. And it is absolutely not that he "just" killed a kitten"

I personally like this HUD. It is totally a different approach and the developers should be lauded for what they are accomplishing. Here is why:

@Turhaya: Ahh. :) I am not familiar with her bebcause I don't have TV. I watch Daily Show online the day after.

Does anyone remember when Hi-C had a contest with Nintendo back in the early 90's and one kids game idea would be made? I wonder if anything came of that?

@Turhaya: Different from Larry Whitmore, John Hodgeman, Aasif Mahdvi, John Oliver, Jason Jones, I would definitely say yes. Wyatt Cenac started off bad like this and still can be iffy, and Samantha B is hit or miss. And dipping into the past and not just the current correspondents and contributors for comparison, I

I think Konami is arguable by your criteria. While it is clean now, it may represent this era 20 years from now the same way their old logo felt very 80s tech. And for polytron, while I love the logo, screams of being intentionally retro and may lose appeal after some time.

Saw her on tonight's show. I thought she was a little unnatural. Felt very forced.

I hear Sony is proposing an MP3 tax because all the digital music players which are being sold is hurting the sales of their Walkmen casette players.

@Sobersean: aka Doctor Aquafresh: Well I know I am pissed about it. But I don't know how many of those companies, other than GE, actually make consumer electronics. I think it may be a little beneficial coincidence on their part, but I could be wrong, and again I am against this whole thing.

@Scaraba: I like Amnesiac. A lot of people don't because it is basically a B-side collection from Kid A. I remember when Kurt Loder announced Kid A on MTV news saying they wrote 40 songs, recorded around 20, and put 10 on the album.

@jsalari: They played Black Star and Fake Plastic Trees at the show I saw. So rad.

@aerobica: for me it was a movie called Inhibition. Showtime never played it again though.

@Kobun: I think they got that out of their system when Thom Yorke did his solo album, and now has Atoms For Peace. When I saw Radiohead live in '06 there was still a hefty dose of guitar stuff happening, even from the (new at the time) In Rainbows stuff, just not so much on Kid A or other tracks from that album.

And Trent Reznor back in 99 said he loved Smash Bros. They are people too! Yay!
