I had some buddies who lived in Japan for a while, back in the 90's, around the time MGS Integral came out. It was the first release of the original MGS game with the English voice cast released in Japan, and subtitled in Japanese. My friend explained to me that this was preferred because it was very similar to how

@elmorepow: I would call you oblivious before calling you a fanboy. Unless you are color blind or use all black and white monitors for both surfing and gaming. I recommend scrolling to the top of the page and looking at the kotaku color theme on the website itself, clearly matching the colors on the shirt. Xbox

@Psudonym: It is the nature of language. It is created out of use, not trickled down from on high.

@Psudonym: My favorite from the "souped" section of urbandictionary

isn't it "suped up"? As in "super"? I don't think you are putting "soup" into the engine.

I almost bought Herdy Gerdy for the box art. I remember really liking it back in '01.

@Pretty Pink Pwnie: It looks great because it is heavily influenced by the art of Giorgio de Chirico. Talk about market research and doing things which work. :P

I think the biggest drive behind this decision is server related. My memory isn't 100% on this, but when Demi-God came out their servers were slammed, but the number of people playing online didn't match the game sales at all. I believe a version of Crysis saw a very similar thing.

@UstinStitch: If you planned to buy it first hand then you won't have to pay a thing. Is it still dicked?

I guess I will have to go the old fashioned stealing route and take the full game from a store. Thanks for the heads up. ;)

@M1911: Yeah. And it's not football if it isn't played on grass. And it's not cheating if it's in a different zip code.

@AncientUnknown1: Never tried it, but I have heard some good things.

@lineypi: Most wasabi is just horseradish, which I would describe as spicy.

@Psudonym: @Taggart6 needs help breaking 100 followers!: Fourthed

@AncientUnknown1: indulge the chili talkers: I have never had it. What makes it special?

My Mom won a chili cookoff way back in 91 with a Texas-style recipe. She made it for my brothers birthday while I was visiting and I forgot how much I loved it growing up. I took home the recipe and changed it up a bit (my wife hates meat-only chili.)

@BornAsGhost: Generally I try to avoid statements I think are trolling, but I will bite this time. Please enlighten myself and others as to what "chili even is."

@jfclavette: Didn't know he did that, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Make motorcycles illegal and we'll see which you are more scared of.
