I feel like publishers reveal hard release dates more nowadays (and within the past 10 years) more than they did 10-15+ years ago. It's as if they only give out these DAY specific dates to generate buzz. Many games, including some of the early MGS series, keep the initial release TBA until it is clear the core

"I'm not sure I'd be willing to bite, at least not until the Game Room lets me wander around, sandbox-style, inside the arcade."

@depward: That hasn't been my experience so far. The few people that did have headsets had their voice so modulated that I couldn't understand them, and no one was communicating and working together.

@BMT: Now that you mention it, Socom (made by the same devs) came with a USB mic. Good idea to pack in

@slotter: Too bad developers aren't angels, and then your lead makes you rewrite your bug. :)

@slotter: If you were to write bugs as good as you wrote your comments, there would be a lot of NMI's I am sure.

So obviously %99 of the readers on here aren't jazzed about this show because it boils down to being on the Apprentice and winning a job in the mail room at one of Trump's businesses.

@TRAMS_AM: Don't put "should" in the expected result.

I really enjoyed Trials HD, and got all the achievements minus 1, but I didn't feel the controls were very tight. Anyone who trials to do the long jump with analog stick vs. d-pad will see that the digital input is far more responsive and predictable than the analog. I found myself in very unpredictable situations

Same with cell phones, eyeglasses, automobiles, and more I am sure. There is the sticker face value, and all the extras. Like he said, he should have done the research.

@gurfinki: I didn't realize that shooting had to be involved in order for taking cover to be relevant.

I think it's a great cover. I like the origami one better, but if I only saw this cover and the American one, I would be up in arms that the Japanese one is so much better.

@Faceless.Troll: Agreed. I think more than Time Crisis, MGS was a game that influenced a lot of games to implement cover back in the day. Granted, it is an obvious example, and Brian decided to go with a more esoteric example from the same time period with Winback.

That's funny, because I think the best car ever made is the Gibbs Aquada, because it is also a boat.

@Algebraic: I agree. Especially considering he has Majora's Mask on his list for the decade, and that came out in 2000, which contradicts his opinions that the decade begins on the "1's."

@Shinkirou: Twoflower hit it on the head.

@Shinkirou: There are development costs, and MTV/EA/Harmonix licensing costs on top of the standard licensing costs.

The whole thing really stinks of apples and oranges.
