I saw both this and Blur at E3. I didn't have the opportunity to play it, but the visuals, innovative HUD, and sense of speed were amazing, especially compared to Blur. Both of these games are ostensibly Mario Kart with a Burnout skin, which to me is a great thing. But Split/Second looked to have a tighter track

My wife hated how much I played COD4. But recently she got her own XBL Gold account, she tried out our copy of MW2 online, and now SHE is hooked!

@ReconToaster misses garnett :(: I'm leaning that way now too. There is almost no point in owning a tangible product if every aspect of it is made of horrible garbage.

@gamegrump: I promoted this specifically for the comments about compromising situations.

@Beatnik11: I am not against reducing consumer waste, but the quality of these cases are not the answer.

@Touched: Manuals have been trash for years. The MW2 one is around 6 pages.

@JaxomZero: They are called "Keepers."

@Wartoad6: not to mention on the artists flickr page he calls the work "arcade expressionism."

Stephen Totilo summed it up best for me: "I feared the sense of obligation to keep playing a game I continuously paid for. And I feared the amount of other games I wouldn't have time to play in order to play this single one."

@SuprShin: or how they'll handle the mortal kombat fatality system.

@Optimistic Prime: Again I feel like the fact that the game is referencing something outside its own internal universe, within the confines of its walls, that it is breaking the fourth wall. It is specifically calling out to the user, through the 4th wall, that it knows about content outside of its own walls. It is

@maraxusofk: I can't say I am 100% [edit: 100% familiar] with what they did on that. All I remember is something about having to pay $5 for multiplayer. And people were upset about that too, I remember.

@kerihobo: As Detre pointed out, and I wish I would have said: DO NOT BUY THE DLC! Simple as that. If people don't buy the DLC, it will DIRECTLY impact the future of DLC. Simple as that.

@The Red Comet: Your first paragraph, makes a lot of sense. It would have been rad, in this instance, if SOAP turned on you!!! :O

@lanion: I was stuck inside too, but would load my last checkpoint after I saw which direction helicopters came from, then grabbed an RPG and made it rain... helicopter debris.

Second Sun and Whiskey Hotel were amazing to me. The whole EMP scenario blew my mind. The second time I played through I ran around looking at the sky and things eventually dropped on me.

So they all have swords and spikes and Sonya is more naked.
