Seriously, it’s salty players - and salty people who don’t even play and end up inflating “problems” they don’t understand. They just reversed something people had issue with (although oddly, no one I actually know cares) and every single comment is bitching as if they didn’t change anything.

Should the tax credit for EV’s be kept or not is debatable, there’s pros and cons on both sides.

power level has a player level associated with it so when they increased the max power level of items they raised the player level cap to allow that in their system. the level cap only made sense to me for class skill points, I figured if you would increase the player level you would also add some new class skill

So they’re basically just locked out because of light level... I mean, it’s a fun grind to raise your light level when you start the game, but they should get rid of bumping up the light level for every DLC.

The next question on the list will be, “do I need to purchase expansion I and II to play expansion III?”

It’s getting nerfed in the patch on the 12th, so they’re just letting people have fun with it for a weekend.

That’s hilarious. Honestly, having PvP full of overpowered laser death for a few days will probably be a lot of silly fun.

Only a good guy with a fire space laser can stop a bad guy with a fire space laser.

I just went and checked for you, sir. It is fully purchasable without the expansion.

I could see why they wouldn’t want cross play in PvP, but the lack of it in PvE sucks.

the fact that it locks you out of getting the platinum trophy for the vanilla version of the game is straight up criminal :(

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a frank discussion on subscription and expansion practices, I just want to be clear that Bungie/Activision are bizarrely requiring you to pay for an expansion to content that you previously would have otherwise had.

A gun that’s nuking human players in a second is also too strong for PvE.

That has got to be a bug. The AC damage analog, Coldheart, starts with low damage that ramps up over time and thus isn’t popular in the Crucible but very popular against bosses in PvE.

When you say “just resorts to teamshooting”, you mean playing a team based game as a team? Who would have ever guessed that playing a game the way it’s intended to be played is something that people would have to resort to.

Destiny needs power fantasy weapons because everything is so normalized. Yes this thing is a bear in PVP i’ve been melted many times in the last 24 hrs but I don’t want to see it die. I guess I don’t really know what I’m saying lol

Every article since Destiny 2 release, there’s a good smattering of comments: “I hope they put in a trace rifle that’s worth a damn.”

No, it’s both dodges for the subclass, no super needed.

It’s more a response of why are you even here? What did you gain by telling us that you are no longer going to install the game? Go over to Reddit. They will appreciate it much more.

I feel like I’m the only person on the internet who’s really enjoying Destiny 2 and thinks a lot of these changes are good things. Comments sections surrounding the game are full of really dissatisfied people, to put it lightly.
