Not sure if this is a gaming thing or just the world we live in but it seems like no matter what people find a reason to complain. When it comes to gaming I feel like developers are put in no win situations because they can’t possibly please everyone and they basically have to pick their poison.

Story is not as good as the visuals and mood; just like the original! Although I like the story more this time around; it brings up many interesting questions, even if it doesn’t have answers. Scratch that, especially since it doesn’t have answers.

The pitch to drivers is that it’s income, but instead, it’s more like a great way to convert depreciation into cash.

I guess it’s just unreasonable to expect that someone should be able to earn enough at an occupation to survive.

Yeah for 30 days, not 3 years

Can’t wait for the article about the excessive RAGE from these players when they inevitably close out these servers in a few weeks.

An astute observation.

That’s ridiculous. You’re paying a fair, reasonable amount to have somebody drive you from point A to point B. There is absolutely no reason to expect chauffeur-level service, so don’t calibrate you five-star-o-meter to it.

If a NASCAR fan were flying the Confederate Flag, wouldn’t that be about as disrespectful toward the American Flag as anything in the history of America?

Now playing

I read that article separately yesterday. What a bunch of whiny little pricks.

Probably because devs like bioware did the exact thing. I think it was dragon age where the base game contained weapons/armor that only one character could use (the rock guy), but the character himself was dlc. So maybe it’s not toxicity but rather skepticism bred by historic practices?

That one is on the devs/companies. Years of on disk DLC and similar bad practices really gave people a strong negative reflex. You gotta build that trust back up.

>because of those fans, the show is becoming easy to hate

I would have thought the simplest thing to do would be to re-run the raffle, this time under adult supervision. Now, everybody who bought tickets is STILL out the money. This was not a raffle, it was a scam. I doubt all the money from the sale went there, either.

I mean does this surprise anyone? EA has long since put microtransactions into their sports games and this is just the continued progression.

I worked at one dealer that wanted me to tell a client (I was new) that if she got a pre-purchase inspection done, that they would void any warranty on the car and she could only buy it “As-Is”. The lady came back from the inspection, handed me the keys and said “lol no.”

Is it wrong to not trust dealers that plant enormous flagpoles and ridiculously large American flags around their dealership? I’m patriotic and I love to see our flag displayed, but when I see flags the size of circus tents flapping over a car lot, it feels like the dealer is cheapening and exploiting an important

Yeah, its his own land but he’s an elderly dude sitting on top of a potential cesspit of nasty car fluids that, if I were his neighbor, I wouldn’t want leeching into our shared soil and water. Clearly, he’s not caring for the cars so they’re probably already polluting the property.

Hoarding is a terrible disease, hopefully he can get some help.

“I once tracked down the author of this guide, Dan Birlew, and asked him how all this happened. He wouldn’t say. (“I do not comment on books/games that old. Please direct your queries to BradyGames.”
