What was their desired outcome/remedy? Did they want their $7 back or were they suing for millions for being slightly inconvenienced?

Doing the lord’s work
I don’t mind this when it’s going to garage sales where people are trying to get things out of their house and you’re paying them the price they agreed to for it, then doing the hustling of taking pics and listing it online to get more money.
I have a friend with a tesla who wants to get rid of it now that Elon Musk is saying crazy right wing stuff. Considering the types of folks with Teslas are college educated, wealthy, care about the world types, this could be have more to do with the CEO than the quality of the cars.
This is good info. Also, it should be noted that choosing not to accept a payment doesn’t mean the company needs to pay less (or telling others to accept the deal doesn’t punish the company and they pay more.) By the time the payout is decided, the company is ordered to pay a set amount and it’s divided amongst all…
That’s awesome!
Figure out how much you can realistically pay every month for the rest of your life. Don’t assume “I’ll probably get a huge raise that will last forever” - be realistic. Figure out the real amount you can put down and still have ~$20,000 for all the out-of-the-gate costs (fix an old furnace, buy a new couch - there’s…
The separate but equal idea is something they actually quite like.
I also kill things in my planters - but I’ve found begonias flower all summer and fall and are pretty hardy and look nice -- plus they’re like $4 at home depot and come in a bunch of colors. The thing I’ve found with planters is that they dry out quickly so you do need to pay attention to watering them every other day…
Is selling power back to the grid during high demand times still a thing — in which case, could a battery make you a few bucks each month when you don’t need it for yourself?
I’m about 3 weeks away from my wedding. It is astounding the cost of things. One thing that’s tough about planning and trying to save money is that my wife’s mother is kicking in a huge chunk of change, and she’s been great about not needing to be a part of the specifics, but she’s expecting a big party and all the…
This was a very good overview!
As for getting better at dating, you can definitely get better at recognizing things that kill the flow or when to quit while you’re ahead if things are going well. But, to that point, you can learn what puts you in the best position to succeed. I’m a fairly social guy and fun and normal in most social situations,…
Oh dang, thanks. I did kind of manually try to get them to climb, but it didn’t really work because they never got long enough.
What are good things to grow that will climb the trellis? I have hanging flower pots on a trellis on a fence, and last year I bought these and they never really climbed: Mrs. N. Thompson Clematis Vine - Purple & Scarlet Blooms - 2.5" Pot Mrs. N. Thompson Clematis Vine - Purple & Scarlet Blooms - 2.5" Pot
Remember when we all did that cool app that showed what you would look like as an old man?
Lots of good ideas here, though it would be tough to call most of these items “essential.” I bought a couple sets of these since my workout area was in my basement and found it to be really helpful:
One other tip - make it clear that rent is paid for the upcoming month, bills are paid at the end of the month.
These things make lighting my fireplace a breeze. Make a wood pile and put 2 at the bottom and everything lights right up: Weber 7417 Lighter Cubes , White
How do you serve this? Or more precisely, how do people then serve themselves? Do you put a pairing knife next to it for people to clip off the sprouts they want? (I love this and am definitely stealing the idea by the way!)
