Living in Toronto, my 2008 RWD only Jalopnik Edition 328i with a set of Blizzaks would plow snow with the lower grille on the mornings I got to the office before the plows came. Have been an evangelist of good snow tires ever since.

DVP N to 401 E?
How do we know that these videos aren’t reversed?!?!? Maybe he starts out drunk and sobers up with each beer!
Your are correct on the brakes. I had a 93 RS with the 3.1 and I was getting pads and rotors done at least once a year. Mind you, I was 16 at the time and drove like a complete lunatic. Front tires didn’t last too long either. 180lb-ft in a relatively light car with no TC made for interesting wet weather driving, and…
I’m guessing this is trying to be the new “football fields”, “olympic swimming pools”, “747 Jumbo Jet” style measurement news outlets seem to love.
Had something similar happen to my old 93 Cavalier. Passenger door bottom rusted which cause the door skins to split from each other, leaving the door with the structural integrity of a wet paper bag. I couldn’t close it because it twisted so much that the door wouldn’t latch on the post.
That missing 1.5 psi is a killer...
I too learned how to drive stick with Hard Drivin. Imagine my father’s surprise when he took me for my first lesson in his 1982 Ford Escort and I promptly proceeded to select first, floor it to redline and dump the clutch, with the e-brake still on, across a gravel parking lot. Good times.
Replacing brake and clutch master cylinders in a Fiat x1/9.
If only I could give more stars...
Do it! My kids request it all the time now.
I have a 2019 Odyssey and the sport mode has to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced in a minivan.
I guess cars have chicken strips too!
Open wheel, or open container?
I flew Toronto to Hong Kong, with a 1hr stop in Anchorage to refuel (and since I was a smoker at the time, smoke as many cigarettes as possible) which took 19hrs and change.
Nope...ABS modulates the pressure to the calipers that are locked many times per second to keep the tire from locking. It basically applies and releases brakes really quickly to keep the tire turning so you still have some control.
How long until us plebs get factory adjustable brake bias on sporty cars? With an electronically actuated system like this, is just a matter of software...I can see the disclaimers (and lawsuits) now.
These style cup holders are shit. My e90 328 had them, and they act like a springboard, so whenever you put anything in them with an open or semi open top (like a coffee with a pull tab lid), and hit a bump they spill coffee all over the centre console/tranny tunnel carpet.
No live races via F1 TV...
I ditched cable long ago...so I either live stream it, or face a self imposed internet embargo until the torrent finishes downloading.
