My cousin is 90% deaf and had a very traumatizing childhood because he had some hearing in his left ear and did not come from deaf parents, he was bullied in the deaf schools he went to. It is nice to read this persons experience of being accepted by the larger global deaf community because it is not always like that.

I think if this rocks your boat then go for it. However I think if you at some point want children then it become complicated and perhaps a more traditional model of a partnership of two people works better. Otherwise, carry on.

I only brush right after the shower with lots of leave in conditioner or Frizz busters. Then I don't touch it again. My daughter just does a finger combing and that is all. Dont brush it out when dry or poof!
