Contraception is freely available, you can buy all the condoms, lubes, pills you want in Ireland. The ban on contraception was lifted in the 80's, while it took us a while to catch up to the rest of the world, we caught up quickly ;)

I have never had sex without a condom, and it feels pretty good to me.... don't knock it until you try it.
