Of course he doesn’t need to liquidate assets to pay his employees.

Edsel interiors were always rad. Look at the pushbutton shifter IN THE CENTER OF THE STEERING WHEEL.

Vista Cruiser for me!

Social welfare was a thing in the Rashidun Caliphate (7th century AD). The first “welfare state” was Imperial Germany (1871–1918) where social security was introduce in 1889. The UK introduced social security around 1913. FDR signed the Social Security act in 1935. FDR didn’t invent welfare but he did save the

Woah, woah, I am not advocating that side AT ALL. I am just recognizing there is a sizeable portion of the US population who DOES think social security, the WPA, the TVA, the CCC, the entire New Deal was the beginning of the end of American Exceptionalism and the (mythical) bootstrap origin story. Like with

a little too squatty in the rear, like the air suspension failed

Manufacturer bucks trend and keeps pricing basically even despite inflation and huge markups all over the place. Jalopnik writes snarky article bashing manufacturer for it.

What an incredibly bugged comparison, social safety net inventor, vs a slave owner and man who perpetrated genocide as flaws to be compared . I wonder how you think FDR was supposed to beat “the depression” without inventing welfare?

And he was ill every single day he got up and continued the run. And by ill I mean more than just...’I have cancer’, his body was in a lot of distress.

I think every Canadian has the image of him limping down the road and dying trying to reach his goal”

So, all of your protests spontaneously erupted in Nazi and Confederate flags?
All your Bernie events went and hassled homeless shelters for money?
Gee, that’s weird, I followed politics when Bernie was running for president, I think that would’ve been news, but you know what?
Didn’t happen, so please don’t draw false

No, no you don’t see any form of protest automatically overridden with Nazi and Confederate flags, people pissing and defecating on memorials, the harassing of homeless people; all these things? You don’t automatically see.
That’s this protest, with these people.
They are the ones doing this, nobody else.

Any good intentions for this protest would be to go to their local provincial legislature and protest there. That’s where mask mandates and capacity restrictions are. The federal government only has mandates over federal matters, in this case the border, but their point is moot since the US has the same vaccination

Please tell us what the “good intentions” in this protest are.

There are NO good intentions here. It’s 100% racist, anti-government bullshit.

First Gear: As an Outlander owner, this doesn’t really surprise me. This car does a lot of things just good enough, for $10-20K less than other crossovers in the market. You can fairly comfortably truck around a family of 4, handles great in snow (I live in MN), gets great mileage and is surprisingly quick for a CVT,

Minor quibble: Terry Fox wasn’t a cancer researcher. He was an advocate for cancer research, which is related but not quite the same. He had a kind of bone cancer - I knew the specific kind once - and had his leg amputated in an attempt to stop the spread. In order to raise money for cancer research, he decided to run

I think the problem lies with the fact that they don’t have the deep parts bin one needs to make a cheap car- to make something cheap manufacturers often uses old tech and old components that are essentially already paid for. But tesla’s old tech and components are more expensive than their new ones, because honestly,

I dunno, for 22k-30k it seems like a very posh Prius alternative, and it fixes my problems with the interior fittings of the Volt. If you’re really looking for a 1-2 person commuter pod and plan to use it as such, it seems like alright value and gets Jalop points for being rare as fuck.

Sienna AWD Hybrid for the win. Then get whatever strikes your fancy for the commuter. I’d still suggest an EV or PHEV for that one, too.
