Good sleuthing.

... and thank you.

I’m finally a real boy!

How about several years?

I like diesels and Jeeps, but this is horrific on many levels.

The greatest video, of all time.

Never seen that hatch. What company made them?

If you’re going with cars from the 80s, a Subaru XT might work better. They’re just as futuristic-looking as the DeLorean, but more reliable and completely unknown to most people. The XT would obviuously lack modern pedestrian-detection technology, but its small size and extensive window coverage should make it easy

This is a stunning car and Gordon Murray deserves all the praise he’s received. However, while 392 pounds is stupendously light for a V12, there have been many, many road-legal automobiles with lighter-weight engines.

He’s just not that interesting, or knowledgeable.

He’s awesome! Thank you.

Me too! A 1974 Buick LeSable convertible or 1982 Chrysler Imperial that gets almost 40 mpg sounds awesome. Some of the newer Jaguar XJs... say 1995-2009 Jaguar XJ would also be on my list.

Thank you so much for this! It’s refreshing (and rare) to get intelligent, detailed commentary from someone with first-hand experience.
