Yes! This! You are so right!

It sounds like an issue for Shade Court.
1) there is a lot out there to suggest it is a common problem, while the suggested solutions are always for women to fix it ourselves by learning to negotiate better (like how we are expected to fix all the problems with the patriarchy ourselves).
Is it just me, or should people just not make any big decisions (like getting engaged or having babies) in the midst of grieving the death of a parent?
Love those first two couples! Gwen and Gavin have been a couple for 20 years at least, so I assume that’s why they count...?
True, but most of those laws are so dated and haven’t been much of a priority with respect to reevaluation. It would be nice to see that change. Frankly it would be nice to see the minimum age for consent be higher in some states, too.
Ha! Thanks for saying that, because I felt like what I was trying to say was going to come out garbled and judgmental-like :)
This is true, but one contributing issue with that is compatibility for ways to keep in touch. If I prefer facebook and an occasional email, with dinner now and then, and someone else will basically only communicate with me if it’s via phone or a marathon visit, we’re going to have a problem. It feels like a nitpicky…
Yes. It’s extremely common. I have worked in male dominated fields for nearly 15 years and it’s absolutely horrifying how a lot of men behave in the workplace.
Transgenderism isn’t just about biology, though. Very small children identify as boys or girls not based on knowledge of the different physical body parts, but what they think and how they feel - like Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (now John?). There’s nothing wrong with being transgender and something feels pretty wrong about…

Hmmm I think I may have dismissed the wrong comment by accident, or an extra one... oops.
That’s maybe the worst celebrity story I’ve read in this thread (that came out wrong but each time I try to rewrite it, it comes out wrong again). My heart aches for 17 year old you and I am so sorry that she was so classless and mean and horrible.
Yes.
My encounter with Louie CK was lovely! He was flying from Boston to NY with his daughters on New Year’s Day. It was a quiet flight and his girls were really good - they read quietly and were very polite. We had sort of an awkward run-in on the exit ramp, but he was super nice.
It’s unprofessional regardless of the validity of her complaint.
Maybe* if it was in a color other than “Draper James Ivory”, which I guess is better than regular ivory?
Well said. This whole article reminds me of an episode of Criminal Minds. No playing with biohazardous waste, thankyouverymuch.
Dear Mark,
No, the midichlorians part I know is from Star Wars... thankfully I managed to find the reference I was trying to think of. It was an episode of Parks & Rec where they refer to midichlorians being in the soil samples because of the news correspondent who hacked into Leslie’s email. Completely unrelated to vaccines. My…
