Here's a solution I thought up after sitting next to heavier gentleman on an already cramped plane: assign the seating by weight (or bmi) from largest to smallest. That would hopefully give some incentive to hefty people to lose a couple and reward others for their hard work.

Don't know but pets outdoors can usually last for awhile on their own, assuming their in their native climate. Opposite example being my brother's pet iguana that escaped and ran under our house. He probably didn't fare too well during the long Minnesota winter.
