For april fools last year my roommate and I hid a bunch of alarm clocks in weird places in our friends dorm rooms. Oh, and they were all set to go off at 3:30am. Oh, and we superglued all of the moving parts/battery covers so the only way to get them to stop beeping was to smash 'em.
