@JJBro1: I think you need to go to the full site on the iPhone (M. doesn't allow it) but I haven't been able to make it work correctly for a while now (using the 4); either won't load the page or something else is borked on it.

@jshoer: Engines like these? ;-)
@gary_7vn: I agree that clearly, you should write for your audience and not be purposefully verbose, but I also don't believe that using "plethora" instead of "many," is necessarily being too "wordy." I that example is was an academic paper for a HS English class which is where you should be learning to express and…
@snapper.fishes: Word, it's a nice Sunday, let's enjoy it..... :-)
@snapper.fishes: Because it's from Japan? Do you think American Cheese implies that Americans invented cheese? Again, not sure what you're saying here.
@ProudGeek: Yeah, I'm pretty....amazed at the responses. (Shrugs) If they want to remain actively ignorant, I guess that's their choice, but still a rather disturbing amount of defense for it.

@sleeping143: Thanks for understanding.
@JimmyBanks: Sounds like your business has some seriously under-qualified people working in it then.
It shouldn't be anyone's job to "dumb down" what they are saying because the average person won't understand it. Those who don't understand complex ideas or words should raise themselves to the level that they do.
@FemShepard: First line from the "Dyson Sphere" page on Wikipedia:
