@Ben Zvan: I didn't mean to imply that it was a good thing, it just has been occurring for a while. Zippos or a bic is really all you should be using to show appreciation at a show.

New England? Holy shit....
I'm not sure about the constant need to find the "best" game, movie, album, etc. Sure, I have top 5s or 10s in those categories, but naming on that's unequivocally better than the others? Depends on my mood, what day it is....so many things.
@reddyroc: I agree, while some of his lyrics (Super Nintendo, Sega genisis...) are clearly tech shoutouts, the pager mention in Warning is just talking about a tool of the trade.
@Luke Plunkett: Ahhh, thanks for the clarification.
Was the PSP even out in 2003?
I don't eat breakfast, when I was a kid I would get sick if I ate in the morning and it's just carried over into adult hood that I don't eat in the morning. Brunch and vacation are different stories, but I do go through phases where I like to eat cereal as a snack. Mmmm...Cinnamon Life.
This seems...crazy. Is there any compensation for the end user? I would imagine not.
@checkminus182: I was thinking that as well, I dont really talk about video games a lot ith my other friends, those who do have consoles are Mario only /Wii Play level gamers.
It would be nice if parents/school realized that kids operate on a vastly different internal clock than adults.
@gigawings: Hell, I'm not that close with the relatives I know, I wouldn't have a hard time turning down the random ones coming out of the woodwork.
@bakagaijin: Get a room you two.
A million really isn't that much these days. I mean, certainly more than I'll probably ever make, but when I was a kid it was like a million could set you for life, now, after taxes, it's a house, a few cars and some padding for down the road. Good for them for being responsible with it.
This was happening a long time before the iPhone came out, you do realize there are other things with glowing screens, right?
Wait, so they should give up because they'll never beat Republican opposition to their funding? Damn, may as well just give up everything then. social programs? Who needs 'em? Public education? Screw that. Health care reform? Sure, it will be cheaper to not offer preventative care and Drs. for those who can't…
I'd totally X that Y (well, once I determine the value of the variable of course.)
Good stuff as well, you should check out some Scientist as well.
Gang Starr - Hard to Earn, Moment of Truth
I'd go beyond that looking glass.
Looks like I'll have to rise to the occasion.
