@gordeaux: That's what I keep wondering as well, some TVs shows I watch are also side-letterboxed, but others in the same season are full screen. I can't seem to find a "settings" option on my PS3 for the Netflix app, but if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

So I finally tried out watching a subbed movie off Netflix Watch Instantly off my PS3 and it...didn't turn out well. 3 minutes in, half the subs were placed at the top of the screen and were subsequently cut off because of the framing set up. Guess I'll be watching Let The Right One in on some other format this…

@oldirtdog: Huh, I lived in AK for a while and have never heard anyone from the lower 48 refer to it as the lower 48....good times. It is tough going back to mass produced fruit after you've had the real thing.

I just don't think I have the right taste for wine, pretty much all reds have a similar feel to me and I don't really like whites. I'm fine when I have a glass or two with dinner, but buying it I may as well be picking out of a hat....an under $20 hat.
