I also wonder about the social responsibility of retailers during all of this. I think people in the US know that the Christmas season really starts the day after Halloween; Thanksgiving is just a carbo load at the mid-point.

@flugennock: They turn out great, you'll never have a dry deep fried turkey. That said, I've only purchased them, I think you'd have to be crazy to do one yourself.
