Ok, I know I grew up in the 80's, but what the hell does a 6-12 year old need with an iPad or an iPhone? I enjoy mine, but honestly, giving a kid that age a $500 piece of portable technology and paying $100 a month bill for them is insane.

With console games being budgeted at upwards of $80 million these days, I don't find it that surprising.
